"A diamond cannot be polished without friction, nor a person perfected without trials. Someone is enjoying shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago."
Using 'diamonds' from my kid's toy stash as an illustration 😁. Remember to rejoice in sufferings, for then comes endurance, character and hope. Hope is what gives that added momentum to wake up early in the morning to that dreaded alarm after working late the night before; that extra spring in our steps when walking through that dark, grey corridor everyday for the past so many years of our lives; that inner laughter within an environment so dull and heavy; that boost when the energy level is as low as it can go; and that spark and excitement during long days where there was completely nothing to be excited about. Dreams inspire hope!
With my trusty Sony A7II on my favorite 50mm macro lens, I set this up such that the natural light from my window came from the right side partially illuminating the watch and the props. It was late afternoon so I had to hurry before it became too dark for any meaningful photography to be done. Aperture was at F/4, ISO 500 and speed at 1/30s to get more light into the camera.
Keep shining bright like a diamond! 👌
