In the long run, a company's stock price will always reflect its intrinsic value. That's the indisputable truth of the market. This is so reassuring to business owners whose current results are not reflecting the value they truly bring to the table yet. What many struggle with is that phrase 'long run'.
How long is 'long run'? One month? 5 years? 20 years? Or the next generation? Nobody knows. It is something that we all struggle with and something that we need to find ways to live with.
I truly believe that my business is running in that 'deficit' now and that it is undervalued. This is in many ways out of my control. What I can do is to keep working my socks off in the areas that I can control, in areas that feels right to me and in areas where my passions lie. I think that's the antidote to that struggle.
