Get Started

“The challenge, it turns out, isn’t in perfecting your ability to know when to start and when to stand by. The challenge is getting into the habit of starting.”

Seth Godin.

I know of people in their 30's and 40's who do not know what they really want. They spend their lives languishing and waiting for things to happen. I'd not be surprised if many of us never knew our purpose throughout our entire lives.

So finding our calling is a huge deal. Kudos to those who do! The next step is to start doing it. Getting started is another big ass challenge. So often we convince ourselves that it is too much of a hassle. For me, it is breaking the dream into baby steps, take one at a time and bingo! So much easier now. Try it!

I did a night shot with my Sony A7II on the Samyang 85mm F1.4, setup at F/1.4, 1/6s and ISO 250. It helps to steady the camera on a table or use a tripod for night shots as you'd want lower shutter speed to have a good exposure. The wide open aperture of the lens helped to create some nice bokeh balls on the photo.

As the good ol' sneaker brand says, just do it! 🙌
